Go Rogue
Fall is officially here in New York – despite what the temperatures these last couple days have been. As a kid, I was always spoiled with back to school shopping; it was one of the reasons I looked forward to starting school in the Fall every year. But now, every Fall, I feel like I need a wardrobe refresh and part of a wardrobe refresh is obviously a bag.
I wish I could say that every year, I was able to get myself a new bag for the Fall but those student loans don't pay themselves (I'm looking at you Sallie Mae.)
So when Coach reached out to me to partner for their #GoRogue campaign, you could say I was more than a little excited to get on board. Coach was my first designer handbag as a teenager and I have to say, their recent designs and Disney collaboration have definitely grabbed my attention.
A big thing you'll notice in the handbags that are in my day-to-day rotation is that I love a bag on the bigger side and I love versatility.
On any given day, I'm carrying an agenda (yes, I still use a paper agenda!), my sunglasses case, my camera, my make up bag and my wallet. Tally all that up and everything takes up quite a bit of space. I also bring along my MacBook or my iPad every now and then so my bag has to be able to accommodate that size.
Talking about versatility, when you live and work in New York City, your bag needs to do a lot of things. You need to be able to carry it in your hand when navigating through a sea of people during rush hour or on a full train but you also need it to be able to easily slip onto your shoulder (and stay there!) when you need your hands free. Bonus points if the main compartment where you store your valuables can zip.
This bag has all of these things! Check marks all across the board makes me a happy camper. And the ultra-chic, totally in-season "Winter-White" color of Chalk? You know which bag I'll be carrying through the rest of the year and bringing back out again next Fall.
Disclaimer: I received my Coach Rogue bag in Chalk in exchange for Instagram posts. All opinions expressed are of my own and not influenced in any way by Coach or any of their representatives.
