#HappilyEverArvanitis: Vendors

Phew - it's been a whirlwind of the last two months. Needless to say, the last thing I've wanted to do, or had the brain capacity for, is putting pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard?) to recap our wedding. If you've been following along on Instagram, you've seen little snippets here and there of our big day. For now, I wanted to take the time to thank and review our vendors that made the day so very extra magical.

PHOTOGRAPHY 

Disney Fine Art Photography was almost a no-brainer for us. As much as we wanted to explore the different options for outside vendors, we had a great experience with DFAP when we shot our engagement pictures so why try to fix something that's not broken?

Dean shot our engagement pictures in Epcot so we knew we had to have him again for our wedding! Along with Mike, they were our two photographers for our big day and Dean shot our Magic Kingdom pictures as well.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about them and their professionalism. Given that our wedding was the day before Thanksgiving, these two had to do a lot of "Can you please not be in the shot?" or handling the awkward moment when someone asked if they could come in the elevator when there were two photographers, a videographer, and me in a giant gown.

We won't receive our full set of images for a little while but we were sent our "brag book" last night. Here are a few of our favorites:

VIDEOGRAPHY

While we don't have our videos yet, I don't need to see them to give a well deserved shoutout to the team that makes up between sleep & awake. I'll obviously share the videos as soon as I have them - yes, plural!

Dana and her sister were absolute rockstars! Our wedding party and guests all loved having them around - at no point did anyone feel like 'Ugh, there's a camera in my face!' and their personalities fit in our wedding PERFECTLY! Dana made sure that she understood our vision to the point that I never felt the need to even check-in. 

Now, you might say I'm biased because Dana is also a Disney fan but I say that it helps her have an eye for all the magical moments. ✨

HAIR & MAKEUP

You haven't heard me rave about Stacie from Fairytale Hair & Makeup enough but I have mentioned her here and here. She was my hair and makeup artist for our engagement shoot and she's a gem. Every single person she interacts with LOVES her and her witty sense of humor. Also, anyone that can get me out of bed at 3:30 AM (that's the hair & makeup time for Magic Kingdom shoots!) and keep me in a good mood? Can I just keep her forever?!

Not only did Stacie and Jenn (her assistant) do hair and makeup on 1 bride, 3 bridesmaids, 1 mother of the bride, and 1 mother of the groom, she kept us entertained and laughing the entire time. As my mother-in-law kept saying... "Stacie is an ARTIST!"

If you're looking for someone that'll keep your spirits up while making you look absolutely GORGEOUS, Stacie is your gal! 

DISNEY'S FAIRYTALE WEDDINGS

Last, but certainly not least, the team at Disney's Fairytale Weddings - how will I ever sing enough praises of this team?

From start to finish, we've had an AMAZING experience. The planning, cake and menu tasting, planning session to the complete execution fo the day of. Everything was absolutely flawless and Kristie (our wedding planner) made my little OCD heart so happy. Without this team and the absolute magic they put into our big day, I don't even want to think about what a neurotic disaster I would have been.

And one last thing, you know how everyone says that food is so important and that everyone remembers if they had a sh*tty meal at a wedding? We certainly did NOT have that problem. Everyone we saw after the wedding kept raving about the food - the steak, the lobster mac & cheese!

Our wedding was the most magical day of my life and everyday, I wish I could relive it. le sigh

For now (ahem, until we can plan our vow renewal), I'll stick to the pictures and videos that will be coming our way soon! Look out for more wedding related blog posts in the next couple months.
